Victoria Peterburgsky  is a local Santa Barbara bread baker and artist. She became a resident in 1987. She was born in Former soviet union Baku Azerbaijan. Until 1990 she studied engineering, medicine, physical therapy, then in 2005 she started taking art and sculpture classes with Jill Sattler, John Iverks, Cathy Queil, Rose Forkash(China painting), Story Kornbluth (Sculpture) and Michael Drury. 

While being trained in landscape and portraits painting and drawing, she also experimented with abstract colors techniques in various media such as china painting, acrylic and oil.

2007 She became the member of Goleta art association  Over  several years Victoria continues 

to develop her painting style to creating textured surfaces with the sculptural; relief effect. Her paintings are abstract with incorporated imagery from the natural world such as animals, people and landscape designed to uplift the human spirit, raise environmental awareness and to

deepen spirituality. 

Victoria will continue to develop the form and content of her art, giving enjoyment to her viewers.

She also tried  pottery with Robert McGuire also at Santa Barbara Continuing education.

Victoria also has passion for Spanish culture. She has been studying spanish with the finest teacher Barbara Lotito since 2009.  At the spare time she enjoyes beading with the most talented beading artist Laura Gasparini.
